is a Swiss philanthropic foundation committed to long-term, locally-led solutions in East and West Africa (Tanzania, Ghana and Ethiopia), with a focus on high-quality education and agroecology. In Tanzania, AWF works through strategic partners, including the Montessori Community of Tanzania in early and primary education and the Don Bosco Salesians in technical training (with a focus on solar technology), to strengthen systems rather than single projects.
