On 22 October 2024, we had a remarkable day at the Switzerland-Tanzania Chamber of Commerce (STCC), celebrating our new Ambassador designate, H.E. Nicole Providoli, and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the STCC and the CCIG – Chambre de commerce, d’industrie et des services de Genève. We were honored to host Mr. Vincent Subilia, Directeur général of the CCIG.
We began with a productive business lunch attended by our founding and premium members, our ‘Serengeti’ members. Special thanks to Khaterah Massum Panschiri, our Swiss Consul, for joining us.
The day continued with an engaging visit to Sika, one of our Serengeti members, accompanied by the Ambassador designate Nicole Providoli and the Ngorongoro members. Huge thanks to Wema Mbogo and her team for a truly insightful experience!
We concluded the day with a lovely cocktail at the Protea Hotels by Marriott®, graciously hosted by our friend Dinish Antony. This was a wonderful opportunity to introduce all our members and the Swiss business community such Dr. Beatrice Mushi DUKU TELECOMS AND ELECTRONICS, one of our founding members, Horizon Digital Tanzania Ltd, Forvis Mazars in Tanzania, JAMBO FREIGHT LIMITED, Doris Mambo, Ark Associates Ltd to H.E. the Ambassador designate, alongside the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding.
Speeches of Vincent Subilia, Amne Suedi Avocate Entrepreneur / Investissements en Afrique and Matthieu Rochat highlighted that this partnership marks not an end, but the beginning of a strong collaboration between our two countries’ companies. Here’s to new beginnings!
